I’ve tried winsplit out on my windows virtual machine and you are very close to having all the options available. Any chance of having the center buttonS resize the windows’ width (full, 2/3, 1/3) as for the side positions? I’ve had a quick look at the source, but i just don’t know C! Impressive how short the script is!
Keep on the great work, i have your GIT log in my rss feeds so i can find out as soon as there are some new and neat features to try!

So your best bet is to look on the compiz wiki for what packages to install – it will vary depending on your distro.
